4 Ways Giving enables worship
GIVING INVESTS IN INVITING OTHERS TO WORSHIP
Our passion is that everyone, everywhere will celebrate Jesus in all areas of their life. This starts with connecting with Jesus. That is at the heart of our ministries. It is where we invest our staff and our resources. When you give to Life Anglican Church, you invest in calling others to worship Jesus perhaps even for the first time.
And he rejoiced along with his entire household that he had believed in God.Acts 16:34b
Giving is Worship
Worship means serving God in every aspect of your life including finances. Worship means obedience. God commands his people to give. When followers of Jesus give in his name, they are in that moment worshipping.
Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.2 Cor 8:7
GIVING KEEPS OUR WORSHIP ABOUT GOD AND NOT MONEY
Regular assessment of how generously you are living and how sacrificially you are giving can be an assessment of your heart, where your priorities are and what you are looking to for security.
No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.Matt 5:24
GOD BLESSES GIVING WITH MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO GIVE
We see in the bible that God promises that the more we give, the more opportunities we will be given to give.
You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.1 Cor 9:11
